Hello, everyone,

We are very pleased that we have now finalized the list of programs
participating in the Maine Adult Rural Technology Initiative (MARTI)
during FY 2010. Trainer/Mentors will continue to mentor the following
four existing MARTI programs:

*        Caribou Adult Education;

*        Sumner Adult Education;

*        MSAD #9 Adult and Community Education;

*        Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Education.

This year, the project will expand to 8 new sites:

*	Portland Adult Education - Even Start/EL Civics

*	Windham Adult Education;
*	So. Windham - Maine Correctional Center - Women's Center;
*	Marshwood Adult and Community Education;
*	MSAD 5 Adult and Community Education;
*	Maranacook Adult and Community Education, Readfield;
*	MSAD #3, Thorndike, Even Start;
*	MSAD # 49 Lawrence Adult Education, Fairfield and MSAD #54 and
59, Skowhegan Adult and Community Education.

The programs will each be mentored by a Trainer/Mentor from the Maine
Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI), integrating technology into
content areas based on eMints professional development developed by the
University of Missouri and being used by MLTI. The timeframe for this
professional development opportunity will be September 1, 2009 and run
through April  30, 2010.

We look forward to continuing to expand technology integration
opportunities in Maine Adult Educaton.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Marcia
