Substantial progress has been made since that time, through your efforts in community outreach and engagement, EMS services, and hospital care. We have learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of the STEMI care in Maine. It has been a while since all involved in this initiative have had a chance to review its accomplishments and discuss next steps and possible redirection. I would like to invite you to a meeting to do this on January 20, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. here at the Dirigo Health Agency offices at 211 Water Street in Augusta. Please RSVP to Ruth Ann Burke at ruth.a.burke at maine.gov if you will be able to attend. If you cannot attend in person we will have a conference line available for that day.
