ANNOUNCING STATEWIDE ARTS EDUCATION CONFERENCE



REGISTRATION IS OPEN- YAHOO!




Registration begins this week for a statewide conference, “At the  
CREATIVE CENTER: The Arts in Maine Schools, ” which will take place  
October 5 and 6, 2007, at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.  
Interested educators can visit the website of the Maine Alliance for  
Arts Education at www.maineartseducation.org after August 7 for  
conference details and registration instructions.

The conference will bring together arts administrators, arts  
educators and classroom educators from around the state, providing  
workshops, keynote speeches, vendors, performances, and many  
opportunities to network with fellow educators who are passionate  
about the arts.

Workshops at this two-day event will delve into topics in the visual  
arts, dance, music, theater, creative writing, arts integration,  
technology and the arts, arts assessment, and much more. A complete
