Happy December!
I have returned from a wonderful few days with my family.  Included in  
the newsletter is one photo from our journey.

A unique opportunity for student artwork in Grades PK-12

The Department of Education (Maine Learning Technology Initiative,  
MLTI) is accepting photographs that will be featured as the default  
2009 image screen saver on all 45,000 MLTI devices.


DETAILED INFORMATION

Submitted photographs may be:

·      Photography

·      Photographs of 2 or 3 dimensional work

Photographs must be:

·      Landscape orientation

·      1152x870 pixels

·      Without people


Teachers are invited to submit artwork to steve.vose at maine.gov  If you  
have questions please call Steve at 624-6777 or contact me (info below).

The submission of artwork is due 5:00 PM on January 16, 2009.   
Students whose artwork is selected will be celebrated for their  
accomplishments at an event to be scheduled and their names will be  
included in a drawing for two ipods..
