HAAPY SUMMER!!!
I know you are winding down or have just completed another school
year. I hope you will have time this summer for rest and a chance to
reflect on your teaching and student learning from the year. Most
importantly I hope you take time to celebrate the good work you do
for Maine kids each day!
This is an especially happy (and a bit sad) time for my family as my
youngest son just finished high school and I will truly be an "empty
nestor" in September. We are so very proud of his accomplishments
and today (June 17th) he turned 18, so another opportunity to celebrate!
At the link below you can find the Arts Education Newsletter #36.
Please be sure and read the information on G/T arts programs and MLR's.
The newsletter will continue throughout the summer. If you wish to
receive it at another email address please let me know and I'd be
glad to take care of that for you. If you have information you'd
like me to share in future newsletters please email it to me.
Best Wishes for a WONDERFUL summer! If you're in Augusta feel free
to stop in and say Hi, 5th floor, Cross Building, just ask the
receptionist to call me. Or perhaps I'll see you at the Middle Level
Institute next week at Orono or at Sandy Point for the Fellows
Institute, July 19-24th or at the MLTI conference in Castine, July
23-25th.
