HAPPY ARTS EDUCATION MONTH!!

The Youth Art Month exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art is  
wonderful!  You can visit PMA on Friday night's for Free.  While you  
are there, don't miss the John Bisbee exhibit!

Arts Education Advocacy Day at the State House was held this past  
Monday and sponsored by MAAE.  Congratulations to award recipients:  
Bill Bonyun Award Artist/Educator-Kal Elmore, Bangor High School art  
teacher, Honorable mention to art teacher Kimberley Pearson and  
Outstanding Advocate for Arts Education- Joan Staffiere, principal in  
Brewer.
