Below you will find the link to the Arts Ed Newsletter #33. Thank
you to everyone who has sent information to be included.
Please be sure and read the three pages of the newsletter, some of
the information is timely for this week. Two pieces are:
The Borromeo String Quartet tickets for this Thursday, May 8th
performance at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland, are still
available for only $10, student price.
Governor Baldacci is seeking a Maine band to participate in the
Independence Day Parade in 2009. Please contact Commissioner
Gendron's assistant, Tammy Morrill at tammy.morrill at maine.gov. You
can find information in the newsletter.

This s another grant opportunity I just received with a due date of
May 30th: http://www.nea.gov/Grants/apply/RFP/LITAAssessment.pdf
Funds available for teachers interested in participating in the
National Board Certification process. Funding is available to pay
for the $1250.00 fee. Funding is on a first come, first serve
