I hope you are enjoying this snowy winter! The link to the Arts Education Newsletter #50 is below. PLEASE NOTE: Communications with you in the near future will take on a different form. I will still send emails to you but they will not be linked to an arts ed newsletter. I am switching to a blog which I hope will engage YOU in the conversation of our business of visual and performing arts education. I hope this change proves to be beneficial for all of us. We take responsibility for educating young people about arts education and I believe that we should collaborate to share the incredible wisdom that exists within and among music, art, dance and theater teachers in PreK-Higher Ed level in Maine classrooms. As always if you have questions or comments, I welcome them! PLEASE read the last issue of the News from Argy's Cubby, which includes a statement from Wanda Monthey about the change in the Visual and Performing Arts Specialist Position at the Department. This issue also contains information on the Regional Arts Professional Communities that are being held in the nine superintendents regions throughout Maine. I hope to see you at a RPC!
