HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you! Another new year is upon us and I see
that many of you are home due to the snow today. It is a winter
wonderland and I don't know about you, but I do LOVE the snow!

The Regional Professional Communities for Arts Educators dates and
registration information is included in the attached newsletter.
Don't delay... register today on your snow day.... the meetings are
scheduled starting in the southern part of the state next week in York
and the Cumberland regions and continuing north every other week until
March 5th in Aroostook County. This is a great opportunity to get
together with visual and performing arts educators in your region!
Please spread the word! I hope to see many of you at the meetings.

MDOE ART EXHIBIT (not in the newsletter)
The Department of Education, 5th floor of the Cross Building, next to
the capitol, (where my cubby is located) has 23 frames for artwork to
be exhibited. This is the exhibit that was handled by Elaine Briggs
handled in the past. I am now responsible for this exhibit. If you
are interested in having the opportunity for your student work to be
displayed PLEASE contact me. I would be glad to send you the details.
