Happy Summer! It is official, according to the calendar, and I keep
thinking how lush green everything is with all this rain. My grass is
getting taller and my peonies are about to bloom! I love the flowers
deep pink color and it is fun to drive by my neighbors where there is
a scare crow dress and hat of the same color this year. I'll have to
get a picture.

I know that many of you will have new email addresses with the school
district reorganization. PLEASE be sure and email me your new address
so arts education information continues your way without interruption.

There are many good posts this week that you won't want to miss! Here
are the topics...
** River Arts in Damariscotta - A fun place doing great arts ed. work,
you'll want to put on your summer visit list
** Here Comes Me! - Read about music educator, composer and Dad and
the piece he's written for his daughter Bella
** PCA now Portland Ovations - Yes, PCA Great Performances has a new

Be sure and read comments from the past week. You'll have to go to a
previous page to find the post called: Another school year comes to an
end! but it will be worth it so you read teacher about the end of the
school year. Some will make you laugh! Thank you to those who post
comments.

There are also new prof dev and student opps as well as research and
upcoming events posted.

The meartsed blog will continue during the summer so please keep
sending me information to include.
AND HUGE THANK YOU for ALL YOU'VE DONE this year to ENRICH STUDENT
