Message-ID: Frost is on the pumpkin this morning, the clocks were changed, deer season has begun and we enter the month that always flew by faster than others for me while teaching. When I look at my November calendar it is very difficult to squeeze in another meeting, a school visit or many other tasks. I hope your November is off to a great start and that you have time to stop and breathe before Thanksgiving is here. There are just a handful of state arts conference posts this past week and only a few more sessions to review in the next week or two. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all the guest bloggers. Anyone wishing to be a guest blogger on a topic of your choice or one I suggest, please let me know. ** ?The Arts Connect? Conference Continues: Part XXVIII ? Message-ID: <12AD15B7-5C70-47DC-89E7-8EF6916C36D2@maine.gov> This past week I spent visiting my 91 year old mother. Her spirit is strong, her mind sound and her body is getting around with the help of a walker. I am grateful to still have her in my life so taking the time to sit and listen to stories as we looked at old photographs was important and I am sooooooo grateful! In this month with Thanksgiving please let people know how much you appreciate them! Also this past week I received many emails with all kinds of exciting news BUT as many of us believe, family comes first, so the exciting news has not been turned into blog posts YET! Just a quick email this week to let you know of the two new posts to the meartsed blog. You can access them at http:// meartsed.wordpress.com/ There will be a few more posts on the conference in the next couple of week (I hope)! Still waiting for a couple from your colleagues. ** ?The Arts Connect? Conference Continues: Part XXVIIII ? Message-ID: Thank you to everyone who has sent me such great information to share with all of you. I still have several drafts for blog posts which I hope to get to this week. I keep wondering why we can't just extend everyday by an hour like we did two weeks ago when we moved our clocks. I do miss the light at the end of the day but I enjoy being able to walk while it is light in the early morning. I am also enjoying this mild weather that continues and being able to see through the woods quite a distance without the leaves blocking my view. The fall season of going to high school musicals is upon us. Be sure and go to your local high school webpage to learn which schools have plays happening this weekend. I enjoyed Camden Hills Regional High School performance of "HONK!" Congratulations to Kim Murphy, Rick Ash and students. I intend to go to at least one more this next weekend. Ahhhhh, so much to do, so little time.... The following are the latest blog post topics and a short statement to get an idea of what the post is all about.
