The Arts Connect! conference was held on October 8 and 9th and the
early reports tell us it was a SUCCESS! 275 Arts Educators attended!
Thank you to the many educators who contributed to the conference. If
you were not able to join us I am sorry, but luckily you can read
about the conference and see pictures so you can get an idea of what
went on. I have already started posting "The Arts Connect!" Conference
Continues and will continue to do so for several days (maybe weeks).
Please be sure and fill out the Survey Monkey if you attended the
conference to help us plan for future events.
If you weren't with us last week, hopefully you can join us for the
next statewide conference!

Paul Faria is searching for an art teacher named Mrs. Daigle. If you
can help him find her please contact him at Paul.Faria at maine.gov

Leone Donovan, art teacher from Messalonskee High School, recently
emailed me and is looking for high schools that have about 900
students and are on a 4X4 schedule. She is doing some research and
looking at how to deal with the falling numbers. If you can help her
please email her at ldonovan at rsu18.org

If you are a new to teaching this year please contact me. If you know
of a new teacher who might not be connected through the list serv to
arts educators please contact me. Thanks!
