Happy July! I hope your transition to summer vacation has been wonderful and that you are enjoying this weather! It was a lovely 4th of July. Our family traditions of parade, chicken bar-be-cue joined by old friends was a delight! A trip downriver to see eagles (we spotted about 10 immature and 2 mature ones made today really special. Summertime in Maine with fresh strawberries, lettuce from the garden, and the colors of the flower beds. If you listen carefully you can hearing me sighing and giving thanks for the beauty of Maine!
