HAPPY MARCH... doesn't look like March is coming in like a lamb here...

I am not sure where the last week went but it certainly flew by. I hope you had a GREAT winter vacation Maine educators wherever you ventured! For snow lovers I am sure you were happy! For those seeking some warmth I hope you were able to find that spot even if it was only by the woodstove reading a book, making art or playing your favorite instrument. For many of you I understand vacation was extended by a day due to today's weather. I hope you were safe if you had to drive!

My week was full of travel and adventures. You can read my recent blog posts starting with an overview to traveling to NYC for the National Expectations update to my travel home that took about 24 hours to how I spent the last Saturday outside enjoying winter activities. The first post below will not go live until later on today (Tuesday). I hope you will take a few minutes and read the long post called I Tried to Get Home, REALLY! When I told my husband about the trip home he kept shaking his head and saying: "I can't believe all this happened!" I apologize that it is so long but I just HAD to include all the details. You can find these posts by clicking at http://meartsed.wordpress.com/

Thank you to those who have sent information to post. There are plenty of new opportunities that you can find on the front page of the blog in the bottom right hand corner.

* Winter Activities in Maine - ice fishing and sleigh riding (post will go up later on today, Tuesday)
* I Tried to Get Home, REALLY! - My trip home from NYC
* NYC: National Expectations for Arts Education - An update of the work
* A Very Full Week - An overview of my last week

Thank you for all you do to create such great arts education opportunities for the students of Maine!

Make it a great month,
Argy
