Only 3 days until the conference! Yesterday an email from USM saying we had 191 registered. We expect we'll reach our max today. I have gotten emails from some folks that they are unable to attend due to workshops in-district. Please know that we are planning to video tape some sessions that we are planning to make available to you. We also plan to video the opening session including the keynote, the lunch session, and the closing session. Remember that the Teacher Leaders will be offering regional workshops and four more webinars throughout the state during the school year. The webinars will be archived with a meeting plan at http://www.maine.gov/education/lres/vpa/assessment.html. Also, information will be posted on the blog about a graduate course in arts assessment.

On Monday next week I will be heading up to Aroostook county with arts educators Catherine Ring, Rebecca Wright, and Rob Westerberg to facilitate an all day arts assessment workshop with almost 40 arts educators. I am excited that so many county arts educators will be there!

Below are the latest blog posts located at http://meartsed.wordpress.com/.
