Happy Belated Teacher Appreciation Week and to all the mom's on the arts ed list-serv, Happy Mother's Day! What a beautiful one it was. I took my yearly trip to see the alewives in Damariscotta Mills and it was perfect timing. There seemed like thousands of fish working their way up the fish ladder. For those of you who have gone there for a visit you know what I mean. It is a favorite place of mine at this time of year!

The following posts are at http://meartsed.wordpress.com/. The two in purple are about the Maine Arts Assessment Initiative. Please be sure and read about the second phase of teachers leaders. There are several grant ideas and student and teacher opps added to the sidebar of the meartsed blog.
