June has zipped by and I am so excited to be finishing out the month with 35 visual and performing arts teachers. The Maine Arts Assessment Initiative (MAAI) summer institute is this week and we will be at the Maine College of Art in Portland for the professional development opportunity. The teacher leaders will be preparing workshops to present all over Maine during the 2013-14 school year. I know you'll read the blog for further details and go to the MAAI wiki for information at http://maineartsassessment.pbworks.com

The weekly Tuesday morning email will go on a bit of a vacation and be sent to you every other week. The next email will be in your inbox on July 9. Between now and then the country and I will celebrate a birthday - I hope your holiday is wonderful!
