Raise Your Voice! The Maine Education Project is located on www.mainepublic.org<http://www.mainepublic.org> - Just click the Education tab. We're featuring student writing and multimedia - videos and audio recordings - about life in school, future dreams and how young people are getting there, stories of what's working in education, and stories of what's not working so well. We want to know what young people think about what they're learning, how they're learning, and what they're doing with those skills.
We're working with many of these students directly to help refine their concepts and then feature them on our site where audiences can join the conversation. And we're working with teachers who are willing to help mentor students to develop work through the writing process, toward ultimate publication on our site.
Teachers interested in taking part, whether working with an individual student, or a class, can contact Education Program Coordinator Dave Boardman for information on getting started, and can use our guidelines as a starting point. Join us and take part in Raise Your Voice! To get started, contact: Dave Boardman Education Program Coordinator Maine Education Project dboardman at mainepublic.org<mailto:dboardman at mainepublic.org> 207.423.6934<tel:207.423.6934>
