Learn more about the life and work of Andy Warhol in four new episodes of Artrageous.
* Andy Warhol: Pop Art King <https://youtu.be/ekGySlb2iyQ>
Want to learn more about the legendary Andy Warhol? This episode of Artrageous will not disappoint! From cats and wigs to mad skills, Marilyn Monroe, Campbell's Soup, and how Andy made a living as an artist, Nate pulls back the curtain and gives a quick history of this famous master of pop culture.
* Andy Warhol's Gold Marilyn Monroe<https://youtu.be/Ve4zUaGiIQo>
I head to the MoMA in New York City to learn the incredible story behind Andy Warhol's Gold Marilyn Monroe. Warhol defined the term Pop Art, and most certainly had a black belt in capturing the culture of an entire era. Gold Marilyn Monroe is one of the most powerful paintings by Warhol capturing the universal icon that she was.
* Warhol's Fav Dive: Behind the Scenes at Serendipity 3 Cafe <https://youtu.be/I8RorlfqOT8>
While filming at the MoMA in New York, we had to stop by the world famous Serendipity 3 cafe for an interview with the original owner, Stephen Bruce! Not only did Warhol love the frozen hot chocolate, but he also had gallery events, which he and Stephen worked on together. You have to hear the amazing story behind this venue!
* Eating a Burger with Andy Warhol<https://youtu.be/f97of9Ugv7Q>
While researching for our animated art history episode I came across Warhol's video of him simply eating a hamburger. Of course, I love a good green screen challenge, so I grabbed my own hamburger and fries and got to work! Not much to say here except this was super fun to do.
