Here's the information for getting some numbers: To generate reports login using the following information (unfortunately this site really only works with IE and not FireFox): URL: http://www.contentreserve.com/ (click on the Login tab near the top, one from the left) Login ID: maineinfonet.lib.reports Password: r3p0rts (that is a 3 after the r and a zero after the p) Click on the "Reports" tab The 3 reports that I imagine will be most useful are accessed by: "View Activity Charts" "View New Patron Registrations" "View Patron Activity Charts" To see just your library's records simply select your library from the "branches" dropdown. Hope this helps. -James _____________________________ James M Jackson Sanborn Executive Director, Maine InfoNet University of Maine 5784 York Village, Suite 58 Orono, Maine 04469-5784 207-581-3083 207-356-0238 (cell) 207-581-3095 (fax) james.jacksonsanborn at maine.edu skype: jamesmjs From lmurray at swharbor.lib.me.us Wed Dec 9 12:21:33 2009 From: lmurray at swharbor.lib.me.us (lmurray@swharbor.lib.me.us) Date: Wed, 09 Dec 2009 17:21:33 +0000 Subject: [downloadlibrary] GPS devices and OverDrive Message-ID: <20091209172133.qv33gwiz484wswcc@mail.msln.net> One of our patrons has a Garmin GPS device for her car and noticed that it is able to play MP3s. I looked on the OverDrive website for her device on the "supported Devices" page but did not see it there. Is it possible to play OverDrive MP3s on this device? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Lisa Taplin Murray Southwest Harbor Public Library 338 Main Street PO Box 157 Southwest Harbor, Maine 04679 207 244-7065 http://www.swharbor.lib.me.us Download Audio Books for Free with your Southwest Harbor Library Card! http://maine.lib.overdrive.com/6B51082B-E6F4-4E42-BA54- 44B05F651111/10/467/en/default.htm From lmurray at swharbor.lib.me.us Thu Dec 17 09:25:04 2009 From: lmurray at swharbor.lib.me.us (lmurray@swharbor.lib.me.us) Date: Thu, 17 Dec 2009 14:25:04 +0000 Subject: [downloadlibrary] Garmin GPS and Overdrive MP3s..a success story! Message-ID: <20091217142504.0ac5yyemskookok0@mail.msln.net> Hi all! I had posted last week about a patron who was interested in downloading OverDrive MP3s to her Garmin GPS device. Well, I gave her the instructions and she was successful! She was able to download from the site onto her PC and then transfer onto the Garmin device. She is able to listen to them in the car and when she pauses the track it comes right back to where she paused (she can't use the bookmark feature on the device, but she's OK with that as long as it saves her place where she paused) Only MP3s work, however. I hope this information helps your patrons! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Lisa Taplin Murray Southwest Harbor Public Library 338 Main Street PO Box 157 Southwest Harbor, Maine 04679 207 244-7065 http://www.swharbor.lib.me.us Download Audio Books for Free with your Southwest Harbor Library Card! http://maine.lib.overdrive.com/6B51082B-E6F4-4E42-BA54- 44B05F651111/10/467/en/default.htm From Peggy.O'Kane at maine.gov Thu Dec 17 09:58:31 2009 From: Peggy.O'Kane at maine.gov (O'Kane, Peggy) Date: Thu, 17 Dec 2009 09:58:31 -0500 Subject: [downloadlibrary] Overdrive directions In-Reply-To: <20091217142504.0ac5yyemskookok0@mail.msln.net> Message-ID: <3233E4190E74E84CB8BB502705B83EFF04C8559B@SOM-TEAQASMAIL1.som.w2k.state.me.us> For a recent presentation I wrote up a 1 page directions for downloading.
