Player Security Upgrade it won't work. He has even taken his computer to his IT person and IT can't make it happen. Could/would you contact Alan Garber via email (uberim at gmail.com) and help him with this problem? We've been to the help page of Overdrive and that didn't help. Plus, he didn't have his computer here at OPL while we were talking so I never did see the message that he says keeps popping up. Thanks for your time and help. The only think I could suggest to them was to contact overdrive support. Both my patrons have new laptops running Vista. We went through the troubleshoot pages but there was nothing there of any help. It would be nice to find out what the problem is. -----Original Message----- From: downloadlibrary-bounces at informe.org [mailto:downloadlibrary-bounces at informe.org] On Behalf Of Joyce Wiebe Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2009 1:38 PM To: downloadlibrary at lists.maine.gov Subject: [downloadlibrary] Problem with Player Security Upgrade OPL has a patron trying to use the Downloadables but when he tries to perform the Windows MediaR Player Security Upgrade it won't work. I've sent this info on to your patron Joyce. To answer an earlier question and hopefully help out some Mac listeners out there, here is how you find the MP3 (Mac compatible) OverDrive files: On the home page (http://download.maineinfonet.org), scroll all the way down. In the left-hand column, look for the box headed "Collections" Click on "View all MP3 Audiobooks" This will give you an alphabetical list of the titles that can be listened to on Macs. I'm not sure most patrons understand our distinction between MP3 and WMA.
