Hi Folks -

 

This is a reminder that for those units that have not submitted their
budget information into MEDMS Financial System and/or those units that
have not certified their October 1st student count - subsidy will be
withheld this month.

 

To check if your unit has not submitted these reports (and other reports
that hold subsidy) - go to the following website and click on "Subsidy
Checks To Be Withheld Based On Missing Financial and/or Enrollment
Reports":

--BudExp and/or BudRev indicates that budget information has not been
submitted to the MEDMS Financial System in accordance with
Administrative Letter #20 dated 2/13/07.

 

--EPS-10-01 indicates that the October 1st student count has not been
certified in accordance with Administrative Letter #10 dated 10/1/07.

 

Administrative Letter #10 "Certification of October 1st Students count
on the MEDMS EPS Report in MEDMS Student Information System - Due Date:
October 15, 2007" is available at the following website:

Administrative Letter #20 "FY 2007-2008 Budget Reporting - Due Date:
August 15, 2007" is available at the following website:

http://www.maine.gov/education/edletrs/adletarchive.shtml 

 

This data is crucial for the Department of Education to meet its
statutory reporting deadlines as well as calculate the "2008-09 funding
level for State school subsidy" - every day the data is late delays the
Department's work.
