Farm to School projects in Hancock County will be featured on this Friday's
"Family Radio Forum" on WERU FM, 89.9 Blue Hill, 102.9 Bangor. If you don't
get WERU reception where you live, you can also listen live on the web, at
www.weru.org

The show will include school cook at Mount Desert Elementary, Linda Mailhot,
who has been purchasing a large percentage of the school's produce from
local farms this fall.

Also contributing to the conversation will be farmer Diane Lokocz of Beech
Hill Farm; farmer, parent, and school board member Jennifer Schroth of
Carding Brook Farm and the Brooklin Elementary School; Scott McFarland,
principal of Mount Desert Elementary School; Tim Fuller of Healthy Acadia;
and parents and students.
