Ken, Education had a seat in the original committee but was not included
in the formal committee determined by the legislature.  I understand
they are meeting but have heard nothing.  I think Mary Ellen or Deanne
would be our resource people.

Greetings-

 

I'm wondering what the status of the Food Policy Council is.  I heard
that it has started meeting, and would like to keep up to date on its
activities.  

 

Does anyone on this list sit on the Council?  If so, can the notes from
Council meetings be distributed to this list?  

 

How can we be sure that Farm to School issues be brought to the Councils
attention?  I understand that there will also be an advisory group open
to people who don't sit on the council.  Is anyone here attending those
meetings?

 

If so, would you keep the listserv posted as to what's going on.
