Hello!

I wanted to let everyone know that the Rooted in Community (RIC) Conference is being held in Maine this summer - and we hope to have a large regional
turnout - as well as guests from across the country!


  
 For
those of you who aren't familiar with Rooted in Community - we are a 
national grassroots network that empowers young people to take
leadership in their own communities. We are a diverse movement of youth
and adults working together and committed to fostering healthy
communities and food justice through urban and rural agriculture,
community gardening, food security, and related environmental justice
work... and every year we host a five day conference for youth to come
together, share their knowledge and skills, and learn about other
programs that are working to create a just world.
