[healthoccs] New CNA Curriculum and next CNA Train the Trainer

There has been some confusion around the MHOEA meeting minutes as it
pertains to a new CNA Curriculum.

 

This is a multi-step process and there are several more steps before
completion.  Those steps will be taken by the Board of Nursing and are:

(a)  Notifying interested parties (expected to happen early November)

(b)  Holding a public hearing at the Board of Nursing office
(tentatively set for December 4th)

(c)  Obtaining approval from the Legislature

 

As soon as the Board of Nursing releases more information, I will pass
it along to the list.

 

The next CNA Train the Trainer will take place on January 15, 2009.  I
am finalizing ATM arrangements in order to cut down on participant
travel.  I expect to post details to the list and www.schoolswork.org
