The Board of Nursing will meet on March 18 and 19, 2009. One of the items they will be discussing - and deciding - is the increase in training hours from 150 to 180. Once a decision has been released on that issue, we will be able to move forward with Training. Due to busy end-of-school-year schedules, I expect the training will take place in June or July. In the meantime, the Department of Education will gladly work with prospective instructors to make it possible for them to move forward with teaching a CNA course.
