font-family:Arial'>Hello, I hope all of you are having a wonderful year. I look
forward to seeing many of you at the CTE Conference on October 10<sup>th</sup>.
We have a “little” assignment to prepare for our Tech Update at the
conference. We will be discussing the standards we use in our programs as well
as related assessments and testing. Some of you may remember that several years
ago we chose the NATIONAL HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION STANDARDS as the standards for
our courses. Others may be new to education and are not familiar with the
standards. So …. Here is your assignment ….. PLEASE go to the
website of National Consortium on Health Science and Technology Education (<a
href="http://www.nchste.org/">www.nchste.org</a>). Click on the ASSESSMENT
PROGRAM READY! Please read it over as we will be discussing this at our
meeting. If you have any other information about testing or if you have had
students take any other national certification tests, bring that information as
