The new CNA curriculum was approved with minor changes. Paperwork should be
released in the next couple of weeks, anticipation of a public meeting in
December. Please attend if you have concerns about the curriculum. The
meeting is 12/4/08 at 3pm at the board office. The board office is located on <st1:Street
w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Capital Street</st1:address></st1:Street>,
next to CVS pharmacy. Elaine Briggs, secretary for DOE, is MHOEA contact for
C.N.A. testing, questions, etc.<o:p></o:p></p>

Mary Brennan updated group. HOSA also meets National Standards: Question
posed: Is HOSA being phased out? Per Elaine, there is a meeting coming up and
that is on the discussion board. FFA involvement is law and DOE will always
be involved with FFA, however it is unclear as to what other types of student
organizations the DOE will be involved in. <o:p></o:p></p>

style='font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:bold'>4. SKILLS USA/HOSA:</span></font></b>
Motion for monies for Skills USA and HOSA. Pam made a motion to provide 500.00
to SKILLS USA/HOSA, motion agreed by all. Motion made to provide Karen Parker
with 600.00 to go to the National Conference 10/2008.<o:p></o:p></p>

12.0pt'>5. Treasurer is not available; therefore there isn’t a
