[MinervaCats] Indexing subfield b in 520?

David,
At a recent Exec Committee meeting, we talked about indexing some other
specific MARC field.  I believe the cost associated with that was $1500
per field, but I think Deb was going to check if there is a "bulk"
discount available for doing more then one field at a time.  

I'm also going to pass this along to the MinervaCats list for discussion
there.

We were wondering if it would be possible to index subfield b in the 520
field.  Since new standards have been determined for the field we are
looking for ways to comply without compromising the needs of our
patrons.  We still want to have, in some instances, longer summaries.
If you could let us know what you think we'd appreciate it.  We also
were curious about possibly using the 590 field.  Can that be indexed?
