[MinervaCats] Title of the week

We have not been able to work on our Author of Week project because of the authority project but I do have a title we can "attack."

At last Friday's Catalogers meeting we decided that it was important to have all annuals with the same title on one good open entry serial record. Each library must be sure to add the year in the volume field of the their item record.

Please note that a change in publisher does not necessarily merit a new bib record for a serial. 

Kovels' antiques & collectibles price list is an example of this kind of record. Bib record b23732878 is a good serial record with a number of libraries attached, although not all item records have the year in the volume field. There were many Minerva records with the same OCLC number in the 001 field which I have combined on to this one record but there are still many individual records for specific years. If your library owns this title would you #1 please be sure the year is in the volume area of you item records and #2 move items to b23732878 and delete the bibs for the individual years.
