Hi Deb,
I'm sure you explained it very clearly, but I didn't get it right! I'm
sending this out to the list.
Thanks,
Ellen
Hi, Ellen,
I don't think I explained SOLAR very well. Can you change it to (my
changes are after "stand-alone):
SOLAR: Deb H. provided a brief description of the SOLAR group of
libraries. Like Minerva and Ursus, it is a collection of libraries
under the administrative entity of Maine InfoNet. Membership in SOLAR
is free, but they have "stand-alone" or manual systems instead of
Millennium Circulation and Serials. The Millennium module used, the
DCB or Direct Consortial Borrower, is for facilitating online
requesting; they use MaineCat to place requests and process them
through the DCB.
and here, I changed the second sentence:
Printing: Deb H. noted that the new version of Millennium coming at
the end of the year will enhance our ability to print spine labels.
She will change a setting that will allow MilCat spine label printing
as soon as she can set up a couple of classes to teach MilCat printing.
Sorry for not being clearer!
Deb
