Yes, once again I'm asking everyone who uses lists to take a look and
empty slots you no longer need. I'll be going through them in a few days
and I'll delete ones that don't fit the prescribed format. If you don't
remember, here are the specifics: "Always include the following elements
in the name of the review file: library abbreviation, the date of list
creation and a brief descriptive phrase to identify your review file. It
often helps to include an indication of record type. Examples: "rpl new
fict bibs 11/30/02", "edl items to get location of edlrf 5/2/02"."
So, things with name like "scholastic" and "newitemsjun07" and
"overdues" are no-no's and will be deleted if still there in a couple of
days. Always begin your list name with your 3-letter code, then a space.
That makes it really really easy for you to find it again or for Jon or
I to find it if we're working on your list with you.
The naming exception is for featured lists. For a featured list, use
something that will make sense to your patrons, like "Camden PL New
Books June 2007" and take ownership of that list.
Thanks!
Deb
