You have found the problem, and it is I.

 

The plan was that the first "Overnight Authorities" export, upgrade, reload
cycle would happen, well, overnight.  Instead, it took 5-6 days. First,
because the "catch-up" batch from Dec 2006 to now was so large (28,000, with
Marcive guaranteeing over night for less than 25,000) and secondly, because
Marcive encountered a small file format issue.  This should not happen again
as subsequent batches will be MUCH smaller.  Apologies to all whose edits
were lost.

I looked at a three bib records I worked on  on 5/15/07 and found that 2 of
them are back to their original condition. They are b24061256 & b2386879x.
All I recall doing was completing the 300 field, but still. . .

In the past week I have updated 12 bib records from prepub level. I had
fixed them all perfectly. I went to look at some today and they are all back
in their original condition. As you can tell I am most upset about this. All
of the books by the way are Barnes & Noble Classics that we had order
records for. Some examples: b24058828, b24058816.

 

It took me a while to change these records and before I start all over again
I would like to know what happend to them and if it will happen again.
