Did you get a response to this? I'm a little confused. Actually, you know what, I see the nonfiling character # doesn't work because the system wants to skip "A" too. I would make a 246 with "A to Z of vitamins, minerals, and supplements" With indicators "3 0" You don't use end punctuation with a 246.
That is what I would do. Bonnie or Ellen -- is that correct?

Subject: [MinervaCats] foreign articles in the 245
At the last cataloger user's meeting, I thought I remembered Bonnie mentioning how to add a 246 to a bib with foreign articles in the 245 to make it searchable in the opac. Unfortunately, it is not in my notes nor do I see it in the minutes. It is mentioned on the Minerva Cataloging website in the FAQ's but does not say how to deal with them.
I mention this because I am attaching to the bib .b23996183 "The A to Z of vitamins, minerals and supplements" and want to make this title searchable in the opac. (I know it is not foreign but it does have the same problem.)
Thanks,
Carin
