We own this title also but it is currently in circulation, so I can't
check the "chief source" either. We do remove book jackets in our
collection and the jacket for this book has a subtitle of One man's
mission to fight terrorism and build nations...one school at a time.
I'll check the book itself when it returns.

Ellen and all,
A patron requested the book Three Cups of Tea today and I noticed a
difference in the subtitles between the 2 MARC records for the book.
b22456818 states the subtitle "one man's mission to fight terrorism and
build nations--one school at a time" This is for the Viking c2006
edition. b24181390 states the subtitle "one man's mission to promote
peace--one school at a time" and this one appears to be the more
"official" title, and the bib is for the Viking Penguin paperback
edition, c2007. Perhaps the first bib was pre-pub?
Anyway, it confused me when I was looking for the book (and the patron
knew only the "Three cups of tea" part of the title), so I thought I
would point out the difference. We don't own a copy of the book here
at Gray, so I couldn't check the "chief source of information", but I
did look at the book website and on Amazon to confirm the favored
subtitle. Or maybe the subtitle isn't that important?
