[MinervaCats] Cataloging class beginning May 7

I am expanding the cataloging class that was originally planned just for SOLAR libraries to Minerva catalogers. We will be using the Minerva database during this class which will meet on Wednesdays, May 7, 14, 28 and June 4, 11 and 25 from 9:30 - 12:30 in the Maine State Library Studio. If you are interested in attending please go to May 7 on the Events Calendar (http://evanced.info/maine/evanced/eventcalendar.asp). Registering on the May 7 date will automatically sign you up for the entire class. I need a minimum of 6 students.

 The class is designed as an introduction to cataloging and will include the following:
                    May 7: MARC Format and editing/importing bib records
                    May 14, 28 and June 4: Cataloging print materials
                   June 11: Cataloging non-book materials
                   June 25: Name Authority Control and LC Subject Headings
