[MinervaCats] Name Authority and Subject Heading workshops

Reminder: There are 4 Name Authority and Subject Heading workshops scheduled for this spring and summer. These sessions include how to select and enter names as access points in bib records and how to use Library Congress Subject Headings and authority file.

Minerva and SOLAR both use Library of Congress Subject Headings. MESH headings are also used by hospital and academic libraries but Sears Subject Headings should not be added to bib records. If you would like a an opportunity to learn more about Library of Congress headings and how to work with authority records for the form of names and subject headings please consider attending one of these workshops.

June 25 Note: If you are already signed up for the May 7 cataloging class you do not need to register for this session. ( Closing date for registration is 6/18)
