[MinervaCats] Featured Lists

I just added a featured list for a library and when I went to the list
of featured lists, I found three that shouldn't be there (one is a
headings report, one is a list of missing books, and one is empty). That
means that libraries that had featured lists in those slots emptied them
without notifying us to remove the list from the list of featured lists,
allowing other people to use those slots.
It will be easy to find the two that have been reused, but for the one
that's still empty, I will now have to go through all of the empty lists
and compare their slot numbers with the list of featured list slot
numbers. With all of the requests from Minerva libraries that I'm
working on, this is not an efficient use of my time.
If you use the Create Lists function, it's your responsibility to follow
the guidelines for lists at
http://www.maine.gov/infonet/minerva/cataloging/howto/lists.htm Specific
Featured Lists information is at
http://www.maine.gov/infonet/minerva/cataloging/howto/featuredlists.htm
I've updated these pages so that the requirements for what to do when
you want to stop using a Featured List are clear.
Remember that that Featured Lists links are persistent. If you simply
want to rerun a list to update it, you can do that and the URL will
still point to the same list slot, but now with the updated information.
You don't need to empty the first slot and create a new list.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

P.S., Yes, TGIF.
