Hi all,
I'm not quite sure which list we were using as a review file at today's
cataloging meeting, but I will choose another one if it was list #4,
the one with missing material types. It really isn't a good example
because of all the wacky records. Lots of them have the weird 001 field,
zzz locations or no items attached. Must have something to do with the new
load of records.
I think I'll pick list #72 (DVDs in VHS bibs) instead.
The libraries below are the only ones with items in this list, but there
are quite a few other UM-lists to practice on :-)
ASG, BAI, BFL, BML, CAM, EDL, FML, GAR, GPL, JML, LUD, MCA, MHS, NOR,
OPL, OTP, PFL, PIT, RIC, RKD, RPL, SKI, SOE, SOH, SOI, SOK, SOW, SPP,
WAR, WEL, WIT, WPL, YPL, York Middle School and York Coastal Ridge.
To make your own list, using list #72 as a review file:
Choose an empty list,
Name it
Store Record Type as ITEM
Choose REVIEW instead of RANGE
Choose ITEM for Type
Choose 79 (LOCATION) under FIELD
Choose "starts with" under CONDITION
Type the first three letters of your location under Value A
Click Start.
I did the above for RIC. Their records are in list #168.
You can easily look at any list query if you highlight the list and click
on "Show Info"
Let me know if you need any help.
