[MinervaCats] large print book

Hello Helen & All,

Our copy has an "author's note" I was able to discover below the
acknowledgements on page [9] that reads in part: "As many of the readers of
this book will be people with poor sight, it has been set in large type (14
point dutch roman) to assist them."

>From that phrasing my guess is that there is only this one edition, rather
than a "regular" and a large print edition. (Regardless of the designation
on the bib record, I would keep this book in our regular collection due to
its content.)

Hope this helps!

Kimberly

Hi catalogers,

Our copy of "Final Exit" was given to me to check as we are on a bib that
says large print. Everything matches as far as the fields, 020, 260, 300,
etc. The only thing is that the print is slightly larger than a regular
print book and there is no indication on the book itself that says it's a
large print book.

Could some of you please check your copies to see how your book matches the
bib? If I bring in another bib and change it to a regular print book then
there will be two records in with the same information except for large
print.

Thanks,

Helen
