[MinervaCats] Featured Lists reminder

Please remember, slots #319-340 in Create Lists are ONLY for Featured
Lists. All of those slots were taken and a quick look revealed that
several were not Featured Lists. I've moved them to other slots.
An easy way to check for the reserved slots for Featured Lists is to
click on the "Name" header in Create Lists to sort the lists
alphabetically. The slot named "Featured Lists only in slots 329-340"
will fall at the end of the Empty slots, so you can easily see what
slots not to use if you aren't creating a Featured List.
If a Featured List is larger than 100 records you will, of course, have
to use a larger slot and that's fine. But these slots of 100 are
reserved because most Featured Lists, since they are essentially online
browsing lists, tend to be relatively small and quick to scroll through.
There are a few there that have titles that may indicate they are
Featured Lists but I'm not sure (without checking a different table in a
different module) so I've left them. They are slots 322, 330, and 335.
If you are using one of those slots and it's not a Featured List, please
empty it, move it to a different slot, or ask me to move it. If you've
asked me to make it a Featured List and I haven't yet, please send me a
reminder.
For those of you who have Featured Lists, make sure you have taken
ownership of the list -- that prevents them from being inadvertently
moved or deleted. Also, remember that you can name it something that
will make sense to your patrons, like spelling out your library name
rather than using the 3-letter code. Patrons will see the list name when
they click on a Featured List link.
Thanks,
Deb
