[MinervaCats] Magic Thief illustrator question

Hello Ann & All,

 

I posted a similar question in early August when there was a single record
listing Harman as the illustrator-Ann, you probably didn't notice since you
did not yet have a copy-thinking that we might want to correct that one.
Before receiving many responses I discovered that another record with Caparo
as the illustrator had been added.  Even though I still didn't know the big
picture, I moved our item to that bib record.

I later forwarded a message to the list with an explanation I received from
the author stating that although Harman was the originally intended
illustrator (and apparently included in CIP info) the book was ultimately
published with Caparo's illustrations.  I suggested libraries with items
remaining on the Harmon record might want to check their items and move over
to the Caparo record hoping that we would end up with just one record.

Hi All,

Probably a not so quick question  -  for those of us having a copy of The
Magic THief by Sarah Prineas, libraries include  bflj ,cam  ,cmlj ,fml
,fmlj ,litj ,pitj ,ric  ,ricj ,sca  ,warj ,ypl ,cmlj ,gar  ,hobj ,jmlj ,lplj
,pflj ,rkd  ,ski  (way too many to put in my subject line)

My question - there are currently 2 bib. records #b26569735  and #b26504339.
The ISBNs, pagination, publisher, etc. are the same on both records the
difference is the illustrator.

The copy I am adding to #b26569735 lists Antonio Javier Caparo as the
illustrator (this is in the book I have in hand), the other record
#b26504339 lists Dominic Harman as the illustrator.  

Would someone attached to the Dominic Harman record please check their item
(bflj ,cam  ,cmlj ,fml  ,fmlj ,pitj ,ric  ,ricj ,sca  ,warj ,ypl) as to the
correct illustrator?  If possible we should combine records.
