Hello to everyone,

Our copy here at BFL has yet to arrive, but when it does we will take a look at it and change the record as necessary. Thanks for finding the errors.

Hello all,

Sadly, I have yet another audiobook question. They seem to give me
more trouble than anything else!

I have the Unabridged audio of Alex Cross's Trial by James Patterson
and Richard Diallo.

An ISBN search brings me to record b27065224, and a title search
shows no other audio editions.

The record does match my copy in all respects - ISBN, author, title,
number of disks, unabridged.

No reader is listed.

And, the publisher does not match. This bib lists Random House as the
publisher.

The back of my audiobook box has the Hachette Audio logo, and the
Little, Brown logo. It lists the Hachette Audio website. The bottom
of the box reads "P 2009 by Hachette Audio. All Rights Reserved. C
2009 by Hachette Audio (packaging elements only). A division of
Hachette Book Group, 237 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017."

So, bfl, wpl, does your copy list Random House Audio as the
publisher? My copy does not have the words Random House on it anywhere.

I also just got Alex Cross's Trial ISBN 9781600248535 which brings up
b27065224. My copy has all the information that Robin listed.

b27065224 doesn't show a narrator--mine is read by Dylan Baker featuring
Shawn Andrew.

Alas, what to do? If I have to bring in a new record I hope my copy comes
2nd in the OPAC so all the holds will go on b27065224:)

I am certain that the problem here is that the record brought by BFL is
incorrect.  BFL and WPL should double check their copies of this recorded
book and verify the publisher's name.

However, if you go to www.JamesPatterson.com<http://www.jamespatterson.com/>,
a little investigating shows that the audio version of Alex Cross's trial
was indeed published by Hachette.  Sometimes you need to do a bit of
detective work...
I suggest that rather than bring in a new record, you should correct
b27065224 and add any fields that are missing.

thanks,
Ellen
