<p><font size=2 face="Arial">Yesterday we had a patron asking about books
6&amp;7 of Ranger’s Apprentice. We found records for Erak’s Ransom at
tml &amp; wit bib # b26022400 and Siege of Macindaw at gar, tml, &amp;
wit bib # b2602231x From what I can gather these are the Random House Australian
editions yet to be published in the US, book #6 (Siege of Macindaw) comes
out here in August while the 7^th book isn’t published until
2010. However, and here’s where it seems to get complicated (at least
to me) Erak’s Ransom is a sort of in-between book that was almost called
book 41/2! So the mark record’s 490 field has Erak’s Ransom as book #5
in the series and Siege of Macindaw as book #7. So, in the catalog when
you search Ranger’s apprentice you have two tilts for book #5. Am I the
only one confused? Australia has already published books 1-9.</font>
