Re: Regional Professional Development Sessions for Educators
Now that the MLTI MacBooks have been distributed, many of you are
facing the challenge of understanding how to best use this tremendous
opportunity to improve teaching and learning within your curriculum
area.
We have scheduled multiple Regional Professional Development Sessions
that will bring together high school educators from across the
content areas to learn and share how these tools and resources can
enhance and transform teaching and learning.
The meetings are not an “etched in stone” agenda but will familiarize
you with the basic use of web tools available on your new MacBook.
The goals for the day will be to: 1. Practice using three universal
literacy strategies and 2. Practice ways to develop content for
lessons using NoteShare, iTunes, podcasting and Studywiz.
Please register for a session at: http://www.maine.gov/mlti/
educator/. You can find a listing of dates below. We’ve tried to
provide you with more options by scheduling two locations per day.
Please select only ONE meeting date/location to attend.
