Dear MLTI Principals,
We hope your summer was restful and restorative. As you begin this
school year, we want to invite you to the first of two MLTI
Principals’ Professional Learning Opportunities within your region.
Please bring your new iBook, and learn about the new tools and
resources that will help you provide leadership in bringing your
school into the 21st Century. The agenda will include four major
concepts:
• A Roadmap for Assessing Levels of Integration – As the second MLTI
rollout arrives, you need to understand how much value your teachers
are squeezing out of the opportunity the MLTI brings to your school.
• New Tools on the New MLTI Image – You need to know what’s there,
and what the new tools make possible.
• The Leadership Role – Leading a 1:1 computing school is different –
what should you know to do this more effectively?
• Literacy and the Social Network – The MLTI can have a dramatic
impact on literacy if it is used effectively within a professional
learning community model - you will learn how to make this happen.
The workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with lunch on your
own.
Below are the Principal session and location in your region - please
