[MLTI-MS] Adobe Software

Dear MLTI Schools,

If you are attempting to install Adobe software titles onto the MLTI  
II 2006 laptops, and you are experiencing technical problems, please  
contact the Adobe Technical Support Help Desk at 800-642-3623. Please  
work through the problem with their technical support personnel, and  
as always, get a case number.

If you successfully install the software, please forward details to  
Jeff Mao, jeff.mao at maine.gov. Based on feedback from a number of  
schools, for products like Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, you may  
not be successful. In this case, please forward your Adobe case  
number and any other relevant information to jeff Mao,  
jeff.mao at maine.gov.

We will assemble your case numbers and escalate with Adobe to attempt  
to resolve the issue.

For Adobe Acrobat Reader, schools have reported success with  
installation and use provided the software is installed manually from  
the admin login, and the application is run once as the admin user.  
Once completed, the teacher and student user are able to utilize the  
software.
