Dear MLTI Schools,
As mentioned at the Regional Leadership Meetings, we have posted
packages in the Middlemaine TC Conference (in the Script Exchange)
that will allow you to gain complete administrative rights to the
MLTI Middle School devices. This will allow those schools that are
purchasing their devices to support them once the MLTI contracted
support ends (June 30, 2006).
For schools which are not purchasing their devices, there are
packages in the distribution that will aid your techs with preparing
the devices for transfer to another school (in the event another SAU
purchased your devices) or back to the DOE (if your iBooks were not
purchased by anyone).
Please read the READ ME file that is included with the packages. It
explains what they do, and how to use them. Make sure that you choose
only one of the packages for any iBook. You do not need to use more
than one of them on a single iBook, and in fact, should not use more
than one of them on a single iBook.
The Packages are available for download from the Script Exchange
conference that is located in the TC Conferences on the
Middlemaine.org FirstClass system. The distribution is password
protected due to the highly sensitive nature of these packages.
Please read the notes in the postings in Middlemaine for how to gain
access to the distribution.
Thank You,
Jeff
