RE:      Maine Laptop Survey Data Needed - Teachers & Students

We hope you have had a productive and enjoyable year.  As the year is
coming to a close, we need your help in continuing to gather information
about the Maine Laptop program.  Please encourage all 7th and 8th grade
teachers and students to complete the online survey - it will only take
students 5 - 6 minutes to complete.

The information we collect is important for many reasons.  It will be
used to report to the Commissioner and Legislature, to gather evidence
for use in applying for grant funds and to provide feedback to Maine
educators.

The STUDENT SURVEY can be found online at:

The TEACHER SURVEY can be found online at:
www.cepare.usm.maine.edu/teacher.htm

Surveys will be available beginning Monday, May 22, 2006 and should be
completed by Friday, June 9, 2006.

Please be assured that any and all information provided will be kept
completely confidential.
